#MAC BINARY EDITOR DRIVER#
If live tuning is going to be done make sure it is NOT the driver doing the changes. When this option is switched on a few options will be changed (also when it already was on): 'textwidth' will be set to 0 'wrapmargin' will be set to 0 'modeline' will be off 'expandtab' will be off Also, 'fileformat' and 'fileformats. This option should be set before editing a binary file. install.packages will look first for binary repositories unless instructed otherwise. Unlike on other Unix systems, CRAN R for macOS installs binary packages by default, i.e. CRAN and Bioconductor repositories offer R packages in binary form for the last released R version. It is NOT recommended nor is it safe to make changes while driving. The simplest way is to use the binary option. Binary packages are specific for a given R version OS. Make sure to have someone other than the driver make changes if live tuning is going to be done. It is not recommended or safe to make changes while driving.
